A few days ago fire swept through Tnaot Chrum village in Steung Meanchey, Phnom Penh. 66 families are now homeless and without adequate drinking water. Immediate assistance has been provided by Cambodian Children’s Fund (www.cambodianchildrensfund.org) to provide shelter and some basic needs.Today Krystof and Michael visited the village with CCF and have organised 33 Aquaboxes (www.aquabox.com.au). These are generously supplied by Rotary Club Eltham, Australia). Tomorrow we will deliver the boxes and show people how to use them. The boxes will provide clean drinking water for a month or two and we can supply extra filters and chlorine tablets if needed.
